ARE THERE LIFE JACKETS ON-BOARD?

-- Yes, there is a type 1 PFD for every passenger. Along with all the coast guard requirements for the vessel including a first aid kit.

CAN MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE CRUISE AT THE SAME TIME?

-- The US Coast Guard regulations for our tiki boats is 6 people plus crew. Additional boats will be available in the future, then for larger groups, you may rent additional tikis and cruise together.

ARE THERE RAILINGS ON THE BOAT?

-- YES, our boats are equipped with safety railings around the perimeter of the tiki boat.

HOW FAST DOES THE TIKI BOAT GO?

-- The tiki boat has a cruising speed of 4-6 mph

WHO IS MY CAPTAIN?

-- All our Captains have been vetted and trained according the U.S Coast Guard requirements. All captains have been chosen based on their experience with boating and knowledge of the local area.

SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?

-- Our captains work hard to make sure your Tiki cruise is as enjoyable as possible. Tips are greatly appreciated!

WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?

-- Customers will receive a full refund with 24 hours or more notice of cancellation. • Customers will also receive a full refund in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, excluding behavioral or alcohol related cancellations. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. • No-shows will be charged the full price. • Cancellations received after 24 hour period will receive a free re-booking or 50% refund.

DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?

-- We do operate in the rain as the tiki boats are covered. However, the captain can decide at anytime to suspend or cancel a tour due to inclement, severe, or potentially hazardous weather or marine conditions including but not limited to the following: -Small Craft Advisories -If wind speeds reach 20 mph or gust reaching 25-30 mph, and/or waves are consistently 2-3 feet or higher, we reserve the right to suspend service until conditions improve. -When lightning is in the immediate area, we reserve the right to suspend service for 20 min from the last strike in the area. -Should an isolated, pop-up storm develop while underway, we reserve the right to return to our main dock or to a secure location at the captain’s discretion until the storm subsides. -If a storm does not subside while at a secure location and is unsafe to return to the main dock, we reserve the right to assist and/or arrange alternative transportation to return the main dock.

WHAT CAN THE TIKI BOAT BE USED FOR?

-- Besides relaxing with a cold drink we can pretty much book anything you can imagine. From bachelorette and bachelor party’s, corporate meetings, anniversaries, birthday parties, weddings… you name it and we will try to make it work. Please contact us with your ideas or special requests.

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ON BOARD?

--Yes, we have a Bluetooth-capable Kicker 4 speaker system that can sync to your phone and choice of music.

DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?

-- We provide coolers with ice. One for food and beverage, another for ice only. We do not serve any food or drinks, however you may bring any food, snacks, drinks or alcoholic beverages and supplies you prefer or your own cooler. We also provide a blender for your frozen beverages. You may also purchase food and drinks from Hidden Treasure Tiki Bar & Grill. (If ordering from the restaurant, please make sure to call orders in ahead of time to avoid delays)

WHAT ABOUT RESTROOMS?

-- Our tikis are NOT equipped with restrooms or a head. We strongly encourage you to use the restroom before leaving the dock. So please do NOT drink more than you are able to “hold” while on your tour!

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

-- YES, Children are allowed. We don’t want them to miss out cruisin’ on the tiki boat. In, Florida, children 5 and under are required to wear a life jacket which we have on board or you can bring your own (recommended). Please let us know if you plan to bring children so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets. USCG only allows 6 passengers per boat... Children are considered a person regardless of their age. This rule is non-negotiable, sorry! We also recommend when bringing children on board to reserve a private charter... If small children become fussy it may affect other passenger's experiences.

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?

-- NO! Unfortunately, we do not allow traditional cigarette or cigar smoking on-board. Vaping is allowed, however, we ask you to be respectful of other patrons that may not be comfortable with it. The tiki boats are made of high quality wood and bamboo and powered by an outboard motor with a below deck fuel tank, so your safety is most important!

-- YES! We are glad to offer all ACTIVE AND VETERAN MILITARY members at 10% discount on all tours at any time!!!! Proof of service is required with ID. Thank you for your service!!!
